Family & Child Travel Health
Specialist travel health advice and vaccinations for families travelling with children, including infants and toddlers.
Overview
Travelling with children requires extra planning to ensure everyone stays healthy and safe. Our pharmacists provide age-appropriate travel health advice, paediatric vaccinations, and child-safe antimalarial prescriptions for families heading abroad.
We understand the concerns parents have when travelling with young children and offer a calm, family-friendly clinic environment at both our Hucclecote pharmacy locations.

Age Considerations
Some travel vaccines have minimum age requirements:
- Yellow Fever — from 9 months of age
- Rabies — can be given from birth if indicated
- Japanese Encephalitis — from 2 months of age
- Hepatitis A — from 1 year of age
- Typhoid injection — from 2 years of age
Our pharmacists will advise on the best vaccination schedule based on your child's age and your travel dates.
