What to Expect at Your Appointment
Your vaccination appointment typically lasts 20–30 minutes and includes:
- Travel health assessment — We review your itinerary, medical history, and any previous vaccinations.
- Personalised recommendation — Based on NaTHNaC country-specific guidance, we'll advise which vaccines and antimalarials you need.
- Vaccination administration — Vaccines are administered by our qualified pharmacists in a clean, clinical environment.
- Documentation — We provide proof of vaccination including the International Certificate of Vaccination (yellow card) for Yellow Fever.
When Should I Get Vaccinated Before Travel?
We recommend booking your travel health consultation at least 6–8 weeks before departure. Some vaccines require multiple doses over several weeks, and certain vaccines need time to provide full immunity.
However, even if your trip is sooner, it's still worth visiting us — many single-dose vaccines can provide rapid protection and we can advise on other preventative measures.
